HELP THE CHILDREN OF SYRIA!

To celebrate 43 years of life on January 15, I am giving up my birthday and asking my friends and family to help me honor children, namely the children of Syria. Across Syria, 2.7 million children are out of school as thousands of schools have been destroyed. Even before the recent bombardment, there is thought to be only 31 doctors left to care for a quarter of a million people. At the center of all of this are our children.

My goal is to raise $20,000 for World of Children to assist, if even in a small way, the children. When you give to World of Children 100% goes to the children because the Board of Governors generously covers overhead costs. The best part of World of Children, it focuses on children only!

I met World of Children last April and fell in love with how humble, direct and quickly their team reaches as many heroes helping to save children as possible. I plan to be a member of World of Children for a lifetime - they are stuck with me!

Thank you for making my birthday wish come true, one gift of love and kindness at a time!

What Your Donation Could Fund

$15 This would pay for a child like Rouba’s medicine costs for an entire week. Medication prevented her burns from getting any more infected and stopped her getting sepsis.

$50 This covered the cost of Fatima’s x-ray, which uncovered that she had the remnants of fingers left attached to her hands.

$100 Transportation for Adnan to get to and fro his physiotherapy sessions. This helps him to strengthen his upper body, and will ensure he can lead a more independent life.

$300 One child’s recovery time in a hospital bed for about half a day.

$500 This could pay for a small surgery. For instance, this was the cost to remove Hamida’s hernia.

$1,000 This could pay for a more complicated surgery such as Khaled’s. $1,000 removed the scar tissue locking his arm, and enabled him to move freely.

$5,875 This is the average cost of treating an INARA child from start to finish.
